Wavequarry

A podcast production workspace for audio editing, transcript review and episode handoff.

Wavequarry product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Wavequarry explores the connection between the sound of an episode and its written editorial context. A waveform-first editor links clip selection to a transcript, while dedicated review and season views organize discussion and production progress. A publishing package gathers chapters, show notes and artwork as a proposed handoff workflow.

The challenge

Audio feedback is often expressed through words but resolved on a timeline. If a comment, transcript passage and clip selection are disconnected, editors spend time finding the moment before they can evaluate the requested change.

  • Connect transcript feedback to the relevant audio moment.
  • Keep episode context visible across production stages.
  • Gather final editorial assets into a clear handoff view.

Our solution

A waveform editor pairs tracks with a synchronized transcript panel. Transcript review uses readable speaker blocks, the season board organizes episode artwork and the publishing package brings written and visual delivery assets together.

  • Inspect multitrack waveforms beside a transcript and selected clip controls.
  • Review speaker-labeled passages with timestamps and contextual comments.
  • Organize a season through episode artwork, stages and contributor assignments.
  • Prepare chapters, show notes and artwork beside a delivery checklist.
