Vellunox

Vellunox brings custom stationery into a visual workspace built around the records, decisions and reviews that shape the work.

Vellunox product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Vellunox is a product design concept for custom stationery. Stationery orders need wording, typography and paper choices to stay linked to the approved proof. The scope connects four activities: invitation studio, paper library, proof discussion, order preparation. Each has a dedicated screen, with an oversized stationery preview with typography sidebar and paper strip establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

The challenge

Stationery orders need wording, typography and paper choices to stay linked to the approved proof. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.

  • Keep text styles and paper swatches connected to the selected work.
  • Make wording comments visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
  • Retain order quantities and packing notes through the handoff.

Our solution

The design starts with an oversized stationery preview with typography sidebar and paper strip. Edit a typographic invitation concept with a large paper preview and text controls. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A ink black, ivory and dusty mauve palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.

  • Edit a typographic invitation concept with a large paper preview and text controls.
  • Compare textured paper swatches and print-finish references.
  • Review invitation wording changes with comments and side-by-side proofs.
  • Inspect approved stationery pieces beside quantity and packing records.

Technology stack

    The results

The design establishes four distinct custom stationery views and a proposed set of twelve feature areas. The visual system prioritizes the working object and its context rather than repeated metric cards. A next validation would ask a practitioner to move from invitation studio to order preparation, identify the selected record and retrieve the relevant order quantities. These are design deliverables, not measured business outcomes.
