Scenivo

Scenivo brings theater wardrobe into a visual workspace built around the records, decisions and reviews that shape the work.

Scenivo product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Scenivo is a product design concept for theater wardrobe. Wardrobe teams need to connect each costume with the character, scene and fitting revision it belongs to. The scope connects four activities: character wardrobe, fitting journal, change sequence, wardrobe inventory. Each has a dedicated screen, with a character-based wardrobe board with bottom scene strip establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

The challenge

Wardrobe teams need to connect each costume with the character, scene and fitting revision it belongs to. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.

  • Keep character records and scene references connected to the selected work.
  • Make alteration tasks visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
  • Retain rack locations and allocation history through the handoff.

Our solution

The design starts with a character-based wardrobe board with bottom scene strip. Browse a character's costume looks with garment photographs and scene references. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A plum, linen and burnt orange palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.

  • Browse a character's costume looks with garment photographs and scene references.
  • Review a fitting record with annotated garment images and alteration notes.
  • Arrange costume changes on a scene timeline with backstage notes.
  • Inspect garment records in a rack-style visual catalog with allocation status.

Technology stack

    The results

The design establishes four distinct theater wardrobe views and a proposed set of twelve feature areas. The visual system prioritizes the working object and its context rather than repeated metric cards. A next validation would ask a practitioner to move from character wardrobe to wardrobe inventory, identify the selected record and retrieve the relevant rack locations. These are design deliverables, not measured business outcomes.
