Orelith

Orelith brings jewelry design into a visual workspace built around the records, decisions and reviews that shape the work.

Orelith product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Orelith is a product design concept for jewelry design. Jewelry teams need to connect a design revision with its stone selection and client feedback. The scope connects four activities: design atelier, stone selection, client review, workshop handoff. Each has a dedicated screen, with a large object viewer with radial material tools establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

The challenge

Jewelry teams need to connect a design revision with its stone selection and client feedback. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.

  • Keep stone library and metal finishes connected to the selected work.
  • Make client shortlists visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
  • Retain reference drawings and handoff checklist through the handoff.

Our solution

The design starts with a large object viewer with radial material tools. Inspect a ring concept in a large dimensional viewer with stone and metal controls. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A obsidian, champagne and rose gold palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.

  • Inspect a ring concept in a large dimensional viewer with stone and metal controls.
  • Compare gemstone photographs, shape labels and selection notes in a visual tray.
  • Discuss a jewelry rendering with pinned comments and a revision history.
  • Review component drawings, reference measurements and a preparation checklist.

Technology stack

    The results

The design establishes four distinct jewelry design views and a proposed set of twelve feature areas. The visual system prioritizes the working object and its context rather than repeated metric cards. A next validation would ask a practitioner to move from design atelier to workshop handoff, identify the selected record and retrieve the relevant reference drawings. These are design deliverables, not measured business outcomes.
