Mossenti

Mossenti brings terrarium workshops into a visual workspace built around the records, decisions and reviews that shape the work.

Mossenti product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Mossenti is a product design concept for terrarium workshops. Workshop organizers need demonstration compositions, material kits and participant bookings connected before a session. The scope connects four activities: vessel studio, workshop calendar, material kits, session journal. Each has a dedicated screen, with a vessel composition canvas with material palette and session ribbon establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

The challenge

Workshop organizers need demonstration compositions, material kits and participant bookings connected before a session. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.

  • Keep vessel references and layer notes connected to the selected work.
  • Make instructor assignments visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
  • Retain kit checklist and feedback journal through the handoff.

Our solution

The design starts with a vessel composition canvas with material palette and session ribbon. Preview a terrarium composition with selected layers and material references. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A moss green, glass gray and terracotta palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.

  • Preview a terrarium composition with selected layers and material references.
  • Arrange teaching sessions with participant counts and instructor assignments.
  • Inspect a workshop kit through visual material cards and packing notes.
  • Review demonstration photographs, instructor reflections and participant feedback.

Technology stack

    The results

The design establishes four distinct terrarium workshops views and a proposed set of twelve feature areas. The visual system prioritizes the working object and its context rather than repeated metric cards. A next validation would ask a practitioner to move from vessel studio to session journal, identify the selected record and retrieve the relevant kit checklist. These are design deliverables, not measured business outcomes.
