Lensora

Lensora brings photography proofing into a visual workspace built around the records, decisions and reviews that shape the work.

Lensora product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Lensora is a product design concept for photography proofing. Photographers need clients to identify exact images and versions when giving selection and retouch feedback. The scope connects four activities: proof gallery, retouch comparison, client selection, delivery set. Each has a dedicated screen, with an edge-to-edge contact sheet with minimal top navigation establishing the visual direction. The work includes interface composition, proposed feature architecture and industry-specific showcase imagery.

The challenge

Photographers need clients to identify exact images and versions when giving selection and retouch feedback. A useful workspace must preserve the connection between the original reference, the selected record and the discussion around a change. Showing more information alone would not resolve that handoff.

  • Keep favorites and image ratings connected to the selected work.
  • Make retouch pins visible at the point where decisions are reviewed.
  • Retain export labels and delivery checklist through the handoff.

Our solution

The design starts with an edge-to-edge contact sheet with minimal top navigation. Review a fashion portrait contact sheet with favorites and selection markers. The remaining views separate exploration, coordination and review into layouts suited to their content. A graphite, pearl and electric blue palette gives the product its own visual identity, while selected-record panels keep details close to the working surface.

  • Review a fashion portrait contact sheet with favorites and selection markers.
  • Compare two versions of a portrait with a draggable split-view concept and notes.
  • Inspect a selected image beside client comments and collection choices.
  • Organize approved photographs with export labels and a delivery checklist.

Technology stack

    The results

The design establishes four distinct photography proofing views and a proposed set of twelve feature areas. The visual system prioritizes the working object and its context rather than repeated metric cards. A next validation would ask a practitioner to move from proof gallery to delivery set, identify the selected record and retrieve the relevant export labels. These are design deliverables, not measured business outcomes.
