Fieldcrest

Fieldcrest is an agricultural operations concept that brings fields, work planning, machinery and harvest lots into a shared administrative workspace.

Fieldcrest product concept in a branded setting

Project overview

Fieldcrest explores how farm teams can keep day-to-day coordination connected across the office, fields, machinery shed and harvest reception area. Field records establish the location and crop context; equipment views show what is available; harvest records connect incoming lots to their source and handling status. The design scope includes four detailed screens, twelve navigation destinations and an identity drawn from working agricultural environments. The focus is administrative visibility and traceability across these handoffs.

The challenge

Farm activity spans places and teams that are rarely at the same desk. A field visit, equipment assignment and incoming harvest lot each carry useful context, but separate records make it difficult to follow work across the operation. The interface needs to provide a clear overview while keeping individual field and lot details easy to reach.

  • Field history needs to remain connected to planned work and assigned people.
  • Machinery availability and maintenance status affect upcoming assignments.
  • Harvest reception needs clear source-field and storage references.
  • Office and field teams need consistent names and status labels across views.

Our solution

The concept organizes the workflow around identifiable fields, equipment and harvest lots. An overview brings activity together, field pages preserve location and work history, machinery views show readiness and service needs, and harvest tables make traceability explicit. Maps, tables and short status labels each serve a distinct purpose, allowing teams to move from a broad picture to a specific record.

  • A farm overview highlights field activity, open tasks and resource readiness.
  • Parcel maps connect each field with crop context and work history.
  • Equipment tables distinguish available, scheduled and in-service machinery.
  • Harvest records connect a lot's source, reception time and storage assignment.
  • A shared twelve-item sidebar supports the broader operational workflow.

Technology stack

    The results

The concept defines four connected farm administration views within a twelve-destination navigation. Each visual places the screen in the relevant working environment. The next validation step would ask farm teams to locate a field's work history, identify available machinery and trace an incoming harvest lot to its source.
